I love waves and curls! My ideal client is embracing their natural hair texture and wavy, curly, coily to kinky hair pattern. I’m committed to supporting my clients on their individual journey to happy healthy hair. I specialize in curly hair cutting, care and treatments. I use a combination of dry and/or wet cutting. I also offer coloring and blonding for a healthy natural lived in look. I value educating my clients on proper technique, products and tools to recreate and maintain their hair investment.
For over 30 years I’ve continued to hone my craft with advanced education, as well as a peer-based teaching approach that has provided me with a wonderful array of techniques to custom tailor each service I offer to my clients.

EDUCATION
I offer haircare coaching in salon or remotely, based on your personal needs. Please contact me to discuss how this works and how to schedule.
CUT PREPARATION
Please arrive with clean, completely dry, fully detangled hair. Use a small amount of light hold product for setting style (soft hold gel or foam preferably). Washing and styling hair the day before or morning of appointment is good, as long as it’s completely dry, detangled and has natural texture and curl pattern on arrival. On appointment day please avoid hats, helmets, bands, clips, combs, pins, twists, buns, braids, or ponytails that will alter the curl pattern.
COLOR PREPARATION
Please arrive with clean, dry, detangled hair. Clarify and use a light conditioner the night before or day of appointment. Avoid heavy conditioners or styling products before color service.
If hair is not prepared properly, my hourly rate for the service applies for extra time needed. If that time is not available, the service may need to be rescheduled and a charge equal to the service as scheduled may be charged.
No shows, cancellations, rescheduling, or changes with less than 48 hour notice may result in a charge equal to the amount of the service as scheduled.
